Alana By David "Kawika" Kahiapo
Alana is Native Hawaiian singer and songwriter David "Kawika" Kahiapo's first solo project. It is an offering to God and the people, full of the rich and beautiful sounds of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music. As with all of David's CD projects, it is produced very professionally, yet has the warm feel of heartfelt indigenous music. Alana is a combination of Hawaiian chant, encouragement oriented and scripture songs. Several of the songs have English lyrics. If you want to feel good, (and maybe even imagine yourself on a pristine Hawaiian beach somewhere giving thanks to God), this CD will take you there.
