A People | A Purpose | A Plan
DOES GOD still have a redemptive purpose for the Cherokee people and their land? Yes! Randy and Edith Woodley, of Eagle's Wings Ministry, believe the Cherokees will lead the other tribes back to God [through Jesus Christ]. From Cherokee country Native American leaders from all tribes and nations will be trained to take the good news of Jesus Christ back to their people in their own tribal cultures - something that has rarely, if ever, occurred before!
This is a plan that only God could design and the Woodleys know that only God can carry it through. Although many of these things were hidden in Randy's heart for years, the bulk of this vision was given to him in a dream. God told Randy to begin praying for 150 acres and 2 million dollars for this dream to start becoming reality. Eventually, the Native American Ministry Center along with a culture and conference center will be located on a larger campus as God makes the land available. But for the time being the Southeast Native American Ministry Center will begin whenever land is available in the ancient Keetoowah city-states, within the boundaries of the land originally given to the Keetoowah people by God.
At the Southeast Native American Ministry Center students will come for short term mentoring and training in a fresh new approach to planting and developing Native American churches and ministries called "Ministry, in a Good Way." This approach has been developed by the Woodleys over their past years of ministering among traditional Native Americans. The Ministry Center will be led by Randy & Edith Woodley of Eagle's Wings Ministry who are known as ground breakers in contextual Indian ministry.
The Woodleys have been successful in developing native Christian leaders where many others have failed. Their methods of leadership training and discipleship
