Eagle's Wings Ministry

MINISTRY CENTER

A PLAN

GOD HAS GIVEN Randy Woodley (Keetoowah Cherokee) and his wife Edith (Shoshone/Choctaw), of Eagle's Wings Ministry, a vision for ministry in Old Cherokee country. Today the remains of dozens of old village sites in Eastern Tennessee, Western North Carolina and North Georgia are marked only by their characteristic mounds located in farmers' fields. The Woodleys believe that it is God's intention to reclaim an old Cherokee village site and use it for the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ while preserving its cultural attributes.

The Woodleys and those who will partner with them, will create the rustic/historic atmosphere of a "pre-removal" early 19th century Cherokee village. This village will be primarily square log buildings along with several waddle & daub buildings. The campus will have a three-fold focus while honoring the ground it rests upon and lifting up Jesus. The future final campus will host:

  • The Southeast Native American Ministry Center
  • The Southeast Indian Culture Center
  • A Family Campground & Christian Conference Center
